Born Again

 

 

This is me shortly after I entered the world. Just the other day my mommy and daddy were talking about the day I was born and it got me thinking. I'm not the only newborn around here. In fact, some people have lived many years and can still be called a 'newborn'. When we accept Jesus into our hearts we become a newborn in Christ. Just like I drink milk from my mommy, 'baby' Christians start small and grow with time as they learn more about Jesus and form a relationship with him. Pretty cool, huh? Jesus said it himself -

John 3:5-7
Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.'


Some day when I'm a little older, I'll be born again too. Until then I'll have fun watching and learning from people just like you. :)
